Our Teachers

The Backbone of our success at Gemini Dance and Performing Arts Academy is the dedication, care, skill and Talent of our fantastic team of teachers. Each offering their own Characteristics and teaching style whilst maintaining our philosophy of treating and teaching every dancer in our school by their own individual needs.

Gemma Blades (Principal)

 

Having been in the industry for over 25 Years, Gemma really is the backbone of our Academy. Just 5 Years ago Gemma took the plunge into creating her own School and has never looked back, training Dancers to be the very best version of themselves have resulted in Multiple Championship success stories together with an abundance of Festival and Competition winners, Distinction Graded Students amongst more.

Qualified and accredited member of the NCDTA, IDTA and ABD Gemma is responsible for all Exam work in the Academy, She regularly Adjudicates Dance Competitions across the Country and is a hands on Principal within our Academy teaching 5 days per week.

As a Choreographer as well as the Academy's Dance Principal, Gemma also Choreographs two full show productions per year.

Molly House 

 

Molly graduated from Addict Dance Academy in Leicester gaining her honours degree in Dance in 2023. 

Qualified and accredited member of the IDTA in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Freestyle, Molly also holds a Diploma in Musical Theatre.

Molly's diverse skill set has been a fantastic addition to our existing team, Her natural ability to fit in to the fold has been brilliant, with our existing dancers welcoming her in to the Academy like she has always been around. Her vision and ideas for Solo Choreography is becoming a real speciality and we cant wait to launch her work in to festivals this year.

Molly shares our ethos, that every child deserves the chance to shine no matter what, it goes without saying that her care, dedication and attention to detail when it comes to her teaching really is second to none, we are delighted to have found such an amazing teacher for our dancers to excel even further.

Faith Fellows

 

Faith is currently undergoing training for her qualification through the IDTA and NCDTA in Ballet, Tap & Jazz alongside her Acrotrix Training.

A multiple Supreme Champion herself, Faith achieved her BTEC Level 3 extended Diploma at Nadine's Dance College in Hartlepool.

Having trained as a young dancer at NDC and also at Val Armstrong PA, Faith decided to take the step into teaching from a young age and has a wealth of experience already under the guidance of her mum Gemma (Principal).

Faith's passion for Acro really stands out with many festival and Competition titles in this field, Seeing huge improvement and development by passing on all of her own knowledge and success to our own Dancers is a real motivation for Faith.
